The Corruption of NJ's Supreme Court

Let me state up front that I find the entire legal discussion over the Governor's email with his former girlfriend and the lawsuits regarding their disclosure to be a bit of a joke. The fact that Corzine allowed himself to get into this situation is more indicative of his mettle (or lack thereof) than the result of this political legal action. These are details that the public in this state do not get.

But here is what REALLY bothers me. The Governor of this state negotiated with the head of a union (that happened to be his girlfriend). The Union fired her for conflict of interest (they thought something was fishy). Corzine said everything was on the up and up. And the NJ Supreme Court said none of it was relevent. This smells really bad. And again, no one cares.

What do you expect? The monkeys in black robes pulled the same type of stunt when the Torch (Torcelli) withdrew from the Senatorial election after the deadline required by state law. The Democrats were allowed to pull a last minute switch with Lautenburg because the polls had the Torch losing the election. By law, the Torch was the Democrat nominee since he withdrew after the date state law mandated the posting of nominees. The "monkeys" decided to make law (why should we be surprised) and changed the election rules. If the Torch had suffered a stroke or some other dehabilitating illness or died, I would have agreed with the court and a replacement could be put on the ballot. The court, like the Florida court played politics with the election law. Liberal judges should be disbarred and removed from the bench. They spend too much time making up law instead of interpreting the law. Liberal make up the law as we go judges are destroying the fabric of our society. Our system depends on impartial judges. Persons who lose a court case must have confidence they have been treated fairly by the system, otherwise why bother hiring a lawyer. The country is pretty evenly split and many of us are fed up with the corrupt government on all levels. The TEA parties are just the tip of the iceberg in popular unrest. If the corrupt politicians and judges push too hard, the rule of law could break down with a French style revolution. If social unrest happens, it will be the fault of the liberal left Statist that currently dominates the Democrat party.
