NJ Tea Party Locations!

UPDATE: All Tea Party information will be updated on the sidebar -->
instead of being updated below. After April 15, 2009, that information will be moved to this post. If I keep on top of things, anyway.

I guess when you coin your blog NJ Tax Revolution, folks who are looking for the beginnings of the real thing look here first to find out what is going on. While we didn't come up with the Tea Party idea, we certainly support it. Several readers have inquired as to where they can attend one of these events. We will try to keep up with these events moving forward for those who would like to show up and demonstrate their feelings about the irresponsible handling of our taxpayer money.

There are currently three events of which I am aware for NJ coming up. All three events are on April 15.

Newark
At Senator Lautenberg and Menendez' office building
Gateway Center One, 782 McCarter Highway
12:00 PM

Trenton
New Jersey State House
125 W. State St.
11:30 - 4:00

Morristown
Location TBD
9:00AM to 12:00PM

We will update this list as further information develops.

New Jersey Has At Least $21.04 Billion (as of 2003) In Surpluses of the Taxpayers Money it is not using, and that is just on the state level. If ALL local government totals were looked at, it would make the state level figure look small in comparison.

"Show me the money!" Audit of all NJ local government CAFRs or AFRs is urgently needed.

Bound Brook plans 'Taxed Enough Already' rally April 15
by Somerset Reporter
Thursday April 09, 2009, 2:36 PM
BOUND BROOK - Mayor Carey Pilato announced today that members of the community are organizing a TEA Party rally in front of 213 East Main St. at noon April 15 to let government representatives know they feel they are "Taxed Enough Already."

Speakers will include Pilato and those attending will be asked to read portions of the Declaration of Independence.

At this location Hendrick Fisher, enemy of the crown, read the Declaration of Independence in 1776 just days after it was signed in Philadelphia, according to a release submitted by Pilato.

The Bound Brook TEA Party is part of a national movement, but will also speak to high state, county and local municipal taxes and protest the spending of trillions of federal and local tax dollars. As of today, over 2,000 cities are hosting TEA parties.

Why is NJ having so few Tea Parties?? Is it because so many of our residents are happy collecting 'government assistance' at the expense of hard working TAXPAYERS? Is it because we are happy with the number of illegal Mexicans that do NOT pay taxes and receive free medical care, taxpayer funded food stamps, WIC benefits, etc.? Does it make us feel altruistic to vote for Socialist Democrats?? Wake up NJ-- we're in BIG trouble if we don't act soon.

The other reason NJ might be having so few tea parties is MOST OF US WHO WOULD LIKE TO JOIN IN ARE WORKING (IF WE'RE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE WORK)!! This is rarely the situation with those on the "other side" of these issues....the "professional protestor class"

I was a flower child in the 70's did not protest the war. I am a concervative and believe in God Country and Family. But I will be there in Belmar with my husband, son, son's girlfriend, and my two grandchildren ages 1 year 4 years, this will be my first protest and my grandchildrens first protest. My husband served his country and was a Captain in the Marines. We will be there cause we are rippen mad about the course this country is taking. We have to get republican leadership back in at the state level and at the national level. Join us if you love your country and don't want to be a socialist.

Today is April 15th, Post NJ tea party in Belmar. Well I am honored to say I was there with a few hundred cold, wet, fellow patriots who love God, Country, and Family.
My two sons and my two grandchildren were with me, my son's girlfriend was there too. We huddled under shelter of the pavilion on 12th ave and the boardwalk and spoke about how outraged we are with the course this new president, and the house are taking us. We want to live in a free society where we make our own decisions and not in a communits society. It somehow got all screwed up, WE THE PEOPLE are supposed to rule not the politicians in Washington. Stop spending our money and our children, and grandchildrens money. You have not heard the end of us this is just of the beginning.
